Welcome to The Quaynotes Website

Hi and welcome to The Quaynotes website.

The Quaynotes are “mostly” a swing jazz quintet (sometimes sextet). We play swing tunes based on the Great American Song Book and also interpretations of more modern songs, mostly at venues and dances in North Wales. We do, occasionally, travel further afield. We are also known to go off piste quite a bit and play the music we grew up with from the 60s,70s,80s etc….. We play whatever fits the , the audience, the event and the venue.

From one of our hosts:

“Hi. What a fun afternoon!
Thank you so much for entertaining us all so brilliantly.
There was a fabulous atmosphere with people obviously having a lot of fun.
Great to know it works inside too.
I’ll be in touch about the evenings.
Please thank the team for yesterday though.
Best wishes from Kate”

Come and see us when you can, and say “‘hello” !
